Privacy Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • We collect what Navri needs to work: your account, your course material, your study activity, and what you send to Navi.
  • We don’t sell your information, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
  • To run Navri we use service providers. Some of them process your information outside Canada, mainly in the United States: Supabase, Cloudflare, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Stripe (payments) and Resend (account emails).
  • Usage statistics are off unless you turn them on.
  • You can download, correct and delete your information yourself, and ask us for anything else.

1. Who is responsible

Navri is run by an individual based in Alberta, Canada. Navri is not an incorporated company. The Navri team is responsible for how Navri handles personal information and answers privacy questions.

Contact: support@navriapp.com. You can also use Ask a privacy question.

The privacy laws that apply to Navri include Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We collect this from you, from your use of Navri and, if you choose Google sign-in, from Google. We don't buy information about you from anyone.

3. Signing in with Google

If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares only basic profile information with Navri, through the standard sign-in permissions openid, email and profile:

  • Your name, used as your display name in Navri (you can change it).
  • Your email address, used as your account login, for account and billing emails, and to reply to you.
  • Your Google account ID (a number that identifies your Google account), used only so the same Google account always signs in to the same Navri account.
  • Your profile picture link, if your Google account has one. Navri stores it with your account details in Supabase.

Navri does not ask for or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts, Photos, YouTube account or any other Google service, and never sees your Google password. Sign-in itself is handled by Supabase (our sign-in provider) using Google’s standard OAuth process.

Google account information is used only to create your account, sign you in, keep the account secure and contact you about your account. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with anyone except the providers needed to run Navri (listed below), and not used to train AI models. Navri’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing it: deleting your Navri account (Settings → Privacy) deletes your Google-provided name, email, Google account ID and picture link from Navri’s active systems, as described in the retention section. You can also disconnect Navri from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; that stops future Google sign-ins but doesn’t delete your Navri account by itself.

4. What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent personal information.
  • We don’t show ads, and we don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We don’t build profiles of students for advertising.
  • We don’t train our own AI models on your material. Our AI providers’ rules are explained below.
  • We don’t make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly important effects. Readiness scores and plans are study guides only.

5. Who processes your information

Navri uses these service providers. Each one receives only what it needs for its job and processes it under its own terms and security programme. We don’t give any of them your information for advertising. Google’s own services (fonts, YouTube, Google sign-in) follow Google’s privacy policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it (for example, a valid court order), to protect someone’s safety in an emergency, or as part of selling or transferring Navri, in which case the new owner must keep this policy’s protections and we’ll tell you first.

6. AI providers and your material

When you use an AI feature, Navri’s server sends what that feature needs to our AI provider and sends the answer back to you. We don’t send your name or email address with it.

  • Anthropic (Navi’s default AI). Anthropic’s commercial terms say it may not train its models on content sent through its business services. Its published retention rules for business API use say inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days, except where a request is flagged for breaking its usage policy (then kept up to 2 years) or the law requires longer.
  • OpenAI (voices and transcription). OpenAI says data sent through its API isn’t used to train its models unless the customer opts in, which Navri hasn’t. Text sent for AI voices may be kept up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.

These are the providers’ current published rules (checked October 2026), not promises Navri can make for them. If we change AI providers or settings, we’ll update this policy first. More in the AI Usage and Accuracy Policy.

7. Processing outside Canada

Several providers above process information in the United States, and some in other countries where they operate. Information stored or processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries, and their courts, police or national-security authorities may be able to get it under those laws.

We use providers outside Canada because they run the services Navri depends on (AI, hosting, sign-in and payments). If you’d like more detail about these providers, how we chose them, or our written policies about them, contact us at support@navriapp.com.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires. The full schedule is in the Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy.

9. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Download your study data straight away: Settings → Privacy → Export my data.
  • Ask for a copy of all the personal information we hold about you, including records the export doesn’t include (usage records, requests, billing records): Request my information.
  • Correct information that’s wrong: most of it you can edit in Navri; for anything else, ask for a correction.
  • Delete a file, a course, all your study data, or your whole account yourself (Settings → Privacy). See the Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy for what happens.
  • Change your choices about usage statistics and email: Privacy choices (in Navri). Withdrawing a choice doesn’t affect what was done before, and may mean a feature that depends on it stops working.
  • Complain: tell us first and we’ll try to fix it (how complaints work). You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We answer requests within 30 days. If we need longer, or can’t give you something (for example, because it would reveal someone else’s information), we’ll tell you why. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act.

10. How we protect information

Information travels between your device and Navri over encrypted HTTPS connections. Database rules make each account’s information available only to that account; Navri’s staff tools show only what people chose to send us (like feedback). AI and payment keys stay on the server and are never sent to your browser. Sign-in and stored data are handled by Supabase’s security programme.

No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong password and never share your sign-in codes.

If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to anyone, we’ll report it to Alberta’s Information and Privacy Commissioner and notify the people affected as the law requires.

11. Students under 18

Navri is for students 13 and older, and students under 18 need a parent or guardian’s agreement. Read the Child and Teen Privacy Policy for the details, written for students and for parents.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a change that matters (a new kind of information, a new purpose, or a new kind of provider), we’ll tell you in Navri before it takes effect and ask you to accept it. If you don’t accept, your study data is not deleted: you can still export it or delete your account. Small fixes (like wording) are listed with a new date.

Terms of Service

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Navri is a study tool. It helps you learn; it doesn’t guarantee grades.
  • You must be 13 or older; under 18, with a parent or guardian’s agreement.
  • Your notes stay yours. You give Navri only the permission it needs to run the features you use.
  • Use Navri fairly and follow your school’s rules.
  • Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Navri (“Navri”, “we”). Navri is run by an individual based in Alberta, Canada. Navri is not an incorporated company. By creating an account or using Navri you agree to these terms and to the policies they mention: the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, AI Usage and Accuracy Policy, Academic Integrity Policy, User-Generated Content and Copyright Policy and, if you buy Pro, the Subscription and Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Who can use Navri

You must be 13 or older. If you’re under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you and is responsible for your use of Navri. Only an adult, or a parent or guardian, can buy Pro.

If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we’ll close it and delete its information.

3. Your account

Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in private. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away at support@navriapp.com if you think someone else has used it. One person per account.

4. What Navri provides

Navri turns your course material into study plans, lessons, notes, practice questions and AI explanations. Free accounts have limits (for example, 10 Navi AI answers a day). Some features may change, be paused for safety checks, or be removed. We’ll try to warn you before removing something important, and you can always export your data.

Navri depends on internet services that occasionally fail. We don’t promise Navri will always be available or error-free.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and write. You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display it, and to send it to our service providers (including AI providers), only to run Navri for you. It ends when you delete the content, apart from short-lived backups. Details: User-Generated Content and Copyright Policy.

Only upload material you have the right to use for your own study.

6. AI answers

Navi’s answers are produced by AI and can be wrong. Check important facts against your notes, textbook or teacher. Navri isn’t medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. See the AI Usage and Accuracy Policy.

7. Using Navri fairly

Follow the Acceptable Use Policy and the Academic Integrity Policy. Don’t try to get around limits, security or other people’s privacy.

8. Navri’s own content

The Navri app, its design, the Navi character, illustrations and sample courses belong to us. You may use them only as part of using Navri. You may share things you make with Navri (like a recap card) for non-commercial purposes.

9. Navri Pro

Navri Pro is a paid monthly subscription. the price, renewal, cancellation and refund rules are in the Subscription and Cancellation Policy and the Refund Policy, and they’re shown again before you pay.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Navri and delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy). If you have an active subscription, cancel it first so you aren’t charged again.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Unless it would be unsafe or unlawful, we’ll tell you why, give you a chance to respond, and let you export your data. If we close Navri entirely, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice where we can, and refund any prepaid time you couldn’t use.

11. Responsibility and the law

We provide Navri carefully but “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, such as a lower grade or lost opportunities. If we are responsible for a loss, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened (or CA$50 if that’s more), to the extent the law allows.

Your consumer rights come first. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under the consumer protection or privacy laws of your province or territory that can’t be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in another province or territory, you also keep the protections of its laws, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. There’s no forced arbitration and no class-action waiver.

12. Changes to these terms

We’ll tell you in Navri before an important change takes effect and ask you to accept it. If you don’t, your data isn’t deleted: you can export it or delete your account, and any paid time continues under the terms you accepted, unless the law requires otherwise.

Refund Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Full refund of your first Pro payment if you ask within 7 days of it.
  • Duplicate charges and billing mistakes are always refunded in full.
  • Cancel any time with no penalty; you keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for.
  • Other renewal refunds are reviewed one by one, following the consumer law that applies to you.
  • Your rights under consumer protection law always come first.

1. Where things stand

Navri Pro is a paid plan, and these rules apply to every payment. There is no free trial: the first payment is taken when you subscribe.

2. Refund of your first payment

If you’re not happy, ask within 7 calendar days of the first payment of your first Navri Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) and we’ll refund it in full, including tax. One first-payment refund per person. We may refuse it only if the account was obtained by fraud or is being used to get repeated refunds.

When it’s refunded, your subscription is cancelled and the account returns to Free. Your courses and study data are not deleted.

3. Duplicate charges, billing mistakes and service failures

  • Charged twice, or charged after you cancelled? We refund the extra charge in full.
  • Charged the wrong amount? We refund the difference.
  • Pro didn’t work. If a problem on our side stopped Navri Pro’s paid features from working for 3 or more days in a row in a billing month, we refund that month’s payment or, if you prefer, add the time back.

4. Monthly renewals

You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals (see the Subscription and Cancellation Policy). If a renewal went through that you didn’t want, ask us. We look at each request individually and fairly, for example if you hadn’t used Pro since it renewed, and always in line with the consumer protection law of the province or territory where you live.

5. Your legal rights come first

Consumer protection laws give you rights that this policy can’t reduce. For example, under Alberta’s internet sales rules, you may cancel within 7 days if a seller didn’t clearly disclose required information before you bought, and a cancelled sale must be refunded within 15 days. Where a law gives you a better deal than this policy, the law applies.

6. How to ask for a refund

Use Request a refund (also in Settings → Billing & Subscription), or email support@navriapp.com. Please include:

  • the email address of your Navri account
  • the date and amount of the charge
  • the receipt or invoice number from Stripe’s email receipt, if you have it
  • why you’re asking (one line is fine)

Never send your card number. We don’t need it.

7. How we decide and tell you

We aim to reply within 5 business days, by email to your account address, with a decision and the reason. If we need more information, we’ll ask. If we say no and you disagree, reply and ask for a second look, or see the Contact, Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made through Stripe, our payment processor, back to the card or payment method you used. We can’t refund to a different card or in cash. Stripe sends the refund straight away; your bank usually shows it within 5–10 business days.

Please contact us before asking your bank for a chargeback; it’s usually faster. While a chargeback is under review, Pro may be paused.

Subscription and Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

  • It renews automatically every month (monthly) or every year (yearly) until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time in Settings → Billing & Subscription → Manage subscription. No penalty.
  • You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you paid for. Nothing is deleted when Pro ends.

2. What’s included, and AI limits

Free includes 10 Navi AI answers a day and one course. Pro includes up to 25 courses, cram mode, practice exams and up to 100 Navi AI answers a day.

AI limits reset every day at midnight UTC. A failed AI answer doesn’t count. Short per-minute limits stop overload, and some AI features (voices, transcription, generation) have their own daily limits shown in the app. Limits exist because every AI answer has a real cost; we’ll never lower a paid plan’s published limits during a month you’ve paid for.

3. How to cancel

  • In Navri: Settings → Billing & Subscription → Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription on Stripe’s secure billing page. It takes effect straight away; you’ll see the end date.
  • Or email support@navriapp.com from your account’s address, or use Help me cancel, and we’ll cancel it for you and confirm by email.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

4. Switching between monthly and yearly

You can’t switch plans in the middle of a period, so you’re never charged twice or surprised by a partial charge. To change, cancel your current plan; when the period you’ve paid for ends, choose the other plan. Your study data stays the whole time.

5. After you cancel

No cancellation fee. Pro continues until the end of the period (month or year) you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your courses, notes and history stay. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

6. Price changes

If the price changes, we’ll tell you by email and in Navri at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first. A change never affects a month or year you’ve already paid for.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again and we’ll let you know. Pro continues for 3 days while you update your card; after that the account moves to Free until a payment goes through. Nothing is deleted.

8. Receipts and payment details

Stripe emails a receipt for each payment. In Settings → Billing & Subscription → Manage subscription you can see your plan and renewal date, update your card, download invoices and cancel. Billing help: Billing question or support@navriapp.com.

AI Usage and Accuracy Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Navi uses AI. It can be wrong, so check important facts.
  • Navri helps you learn; it doesn’t guarantee grades or exam results.
  • Your questions and relevant parts of your notes are sent to our AI provider to produce answers.
  • Your material isn’t used to train AI models.
  • Report wrong answers with “Not right? Report this answer”.

1. What the AI does

Navi answers questions, explains topics, builds lessons and whiteboards, writes notes, makes practice questions, fills in missing definitions (marked “Auto-filled”), reads photos of questions and pictures in your uploaded material (handwriting, scans, diagrams, graphs, tables), and reads text aloud. Navi tries your notes first and says when something isn’t in them; general explanations are labelled.

2. AI can be wrong

AI can misread notes, make up details, or explain something in a confusing way. Please:

  • check important facts against your notes, textbook or teacher
  • ask a follow-up (“Why?”, “Show me a different way”) if something doesn’t make sense
  • report wrong or harmful answers with Not right? Report this answer, or report a problem. Reports include the answer so we can look at it

Readiness scores and plans are estimates to guide your studying. Navri does not guarantee any grade or exam result.

3. What it isn’t for

Navi isn’t a substitute for a teacher, doctor, counsellor, lawyer or financial adviser. If you’re in crisis, see the Community Safety and Reporting Policy for who to contact right now.

4. Your material and the AI

To answer, Navri’s server sends your question, the relevant short parts of your notes and, for photos and pictures in uploaded material, the image, to our AI provider: Anthropic (Claude) by default. AI voices and audio transcription use OpenAI. We don’t send your name or email address.

Our providers’ business terms say they don’t train their models on this content; how long they keep it is explained in the Privacy Policy. Navri doesn’t train AI models on your material. People at Navri look at an AI answer only if you include it in a report.

5. Usage limits

Free: 10 Navi AI answers a day. Pro: up to 100 Navi AI answers a day. Limits reset daily; failed answers don’t count. Limits on voices, transcription and generation are shown in the app. These limits keep AI costs fair and the service fast for everyone.

6. Safety

Navi is instructed to stay on schoolwork, to refuse harmful requests, and to say when it isn’t sure. Text from uploaded files is treated as study material, not as instructions. Teaching styles change how Navi explains, never these safety rules.

Academic Integrity Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Use Navri to understand, practise and remember.
  • Don’t hand in AI-written work as your own where your school doesn’t allow it.
  • Your school’s and teacher’s rules always come first.

1. Great ways to use Navri

  • Explaining a topic you didn’t get in class
  • Practice questions, flashcards and mock tests before an exam
  • Checking your understanding by teaching it back
  • Turning your own notes into a study plan or summary for revision
  • Getting a hint or a worked example of a similar problem

2. Not okay

  • Submitting Navri’s notes, answers or explanations as your own work where your school or teacher doesn’t permit AI help
  • Using Navri during a test, quiz or exam unless your teacher allows it
  • Uploading a test or answer key you weren’t supposed to have
  • Helping someone else do any of the above

3. Your school’s rules come first

Schools and teachers set different rules about AI. If you’re not sure, ask your teacher, and say when you’ve used AI if your school asks you to. Navri is built to teach (it explains steps and asks you questions) rather than to do assignments for you.

4. What we do

We may limit features that are clearly being used to cheat. We don’t monitor your work for your school and we don’t share it with them.

Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Be respectful, legal and honest.
  • Only upload material you have the right to use.
  • Don’t attack, overload or trick Navri or its AI.
  • Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, limits or account closure.

1. Don’t use Navri to

  • break the law or help someone else break it
  • harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone
  • create or upload sexual content involving anyone under 18. We report this to Cybertip.ca and the police
  • upload other people’s private information without permission
  • upload material you don’t have the right to use, or share Navri’s copies of copyrighted material publicly
  • make violent, dangerous or self-harm content, or instructions to hurt people
  • get around limits, payments, security or age rules, or use someone else’s account
  • trick the AI into ignoring its rules (prompt injection), or hide instructions in uploaded files
  • scrape, copy or resell Navri, use bots or automated access, or send malware
  • pretend to be someone else, or to be Navri

2. What happens

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn you, limit features, or suspend or close the account. Unless it would be unsafe or unlawful, we’ll tell you why and how to respond. To appeal, reply to our message or email support@navriapp.com. We report illegal content where the law requires.

3. Report misuse

Report a problem or see the Community Safety and Reporting Policy.

Community Safety and Reporting Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Navri has no public posts, profiles or chat between students right now. Your courses are private.
  • You can report harmful AI answers, misuse, security problems or safety concerns.
  • In an emergency, call 911.

1. How Navri is set up

Today, Navri has no public profiles, posts, comments or messaging between students. Group features (quiz rooms, leagues and public rankings) are switched off. If we turn on any feature where students can see each other’s content, it will have reporting and blocking built in before it opens, and we’ll update this policy.

2. What you can report

  • an AI answer that’s harmful, inappropriate or badly wrong
  • misuse of Navri, or content made with Navri that someone used to hurt you
  • a security problem or something that looks like a privacy breach
  • a concern about a young person’s safety

Report a problem You can also email support@navriapp.com. Reports are read by the Navri team. Safety reports are looked at first; we aim to respond within 2 business days. We won’t tell the person you reported who you are.

3. Need help now?

  • Emergency or someone in danger: call 911.
  • Feeling overwhelmed or thinking about suicide: call or text 9-8-8 (Canada, any time).
  • Students: Kids Help Phone, call 1-800-668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868, any time.
  • Online sexual exploitation of a child: report at cybertip.ca.

Navri isn’t an emergency service and doesn’t monitor your messages.

Child and Teen Privacy Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Navri is for students 13 and older. Under 18? A parent or guardian needs to agree.
  • No ads. No selling data. No public profiles.
  • You (and your parent or guardian) can see, download or delete your information at any time.

1. For students, in plain words

  • Navri keeps your courses, notes and scores so it can help you study. Only you can see them in your account.
  • To answer your questions, Navri sends them (and bits of your notes) to an AI company. It doesn’t get your name.
  • We don’t show ads, sell your information, or let other students see your stuff.
  • You can download everything, or delete it, in Settings → Privacy.
  • If anything worries you, tell a parent, guardian or teacher, or tell us.

2. Who can use Navri

Navri is for students 13 and older. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you use Navri. If you’re under 13, please don’t use Navri. We don’t ask for your birth date; when you sign up, you confirm these rules. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we’ll delete it.

Privacy rules for young people differ by province and country (for example, Quebec requires a parent’s consent for under-14s). Navri is offered to students in Canada. We’re reviewing our age and consent steps with a lawyer, and we may add a parent or guardian confirmation step.

3. How Navri is designed for young people

  • No advertising, no selling data, no advertising profiles
  • Usage statistics off unless you turn them on; promotional email off unless you opt in (and none is sent yet)
  • No public profiles, chat or rankings
  • No pressure tactics: sound is off by default, missing a day costs nothing, and there are no countdown sales
  • Only an adult or a parent or guardian can buy Pro

4. For parents and guardians

You can ask to see, correct or delete your child’s information, or close their account. We’ll check that you’re the parent or guardian (usually by replying from the account’s email address, or with your child present) before acting. Parent or guardian request · support@navriapp.com

User-Generated Content and Copyright Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Your notes and files are yours. Navri doesn’t own them.
  • You give Navri only the permission it needs to run your study tools.
  • Delete a file, course or your account at any time.
  • Copyright owners can report material through the process below.

1. You own your content

You keep all rights in what you upload, paste or write. Uploading something to Navri doesn’t give us ownership of it.

2. The permission you give us

You give Navri a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, process, analyse and display your content, and to send it to our service providers (including AI providers), only to provide Navri’s features to you, keep Navri secure, and follow the law. We don’t use your content to advertise, we don’t publish it, and we don’t sell it. The permission ends when you delete the content, apart from backup copies that expire on their own (see the Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy).

3. What Navri makes for you

Notes, questions and lessons Navri generates from your material are yours to use for your studying. Similar outputs may be generated for other students, so we don’t give you exclusive rights in them.

4. Only upload what you may use

Upload your own notes and material you’re allowed to use for your own study (for example, handouts from your class). Don’t upload material you’ve been told not to share, and don’t use Navri to republish anyone else’s work.

5. Deleting your content

Remove a single file on its course page (this also deletes the stored file), delete a course from its settings, or delete everything in Settings → Privacy.

Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • Your study data stays until you delete it.
  • Deleting your account removes your courses, files, progress, chats, feedback and usage records straight away.
  • A few records are kept longer because the law requires them (like billing) or to show we answered you.

1. How long we keep things

InformationKept for
Account, courses, files, notes, progress, chatsUntil you delete them or your account
Usage statistics (if you turned them on)Until you delete your account. Automatic deletion after 13 months is being set up
AI usage logUntil you delete your account. Automatic deletion after 25 months is being set up
Daily AI counters400 days
Feedback and screenshotsUntil you delete your account
Privacy, refund and other requests3 years after they’re resolved
Policy acceptances and privacy-choice records3 years after your account ends (records of consent)
Billing records (Stripe customer number, subscription history, purchase confirmations)As long as tax and accounting law requires, generally 6 years
Copies held by AI providersTheir own schedule (see the Privacy Policy)
Database backupsA limited period set by our database provider’s backup schedule, then overwritten

2. What deleting does

  • Remove a file: deletes the stored file and its text, and the topics only it created.
  • Delete a course: deletes the course and everything in it.
  • Delete all my study data (Settings → Privacy): deletes your courses, files, progress, chats and usage statistics, but keeps your login.
  • Delete my account (Settings → Privacy): also deletes your profile, preferences, feedback, screenshots, AI usage log, and then the login itself.

These happen straight away on our database and file storage. Copies in backups disappear when the backups expire. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first so you aren’t charged again; Navri won’t delete an account with a live subscription. If something can’t be deleted, Navri tells you and we finish it for you.

3. Inactive accounts

We don’t delete inactive accounts automatically at the moment. If we start, we’ll email you first and give you time to keep your account.

Accessibility Statement

Version 1.0Effective October 26, 2026Last updated October 24, 2026Operator: Navrisupport@navriapp.com

In short

  • We want every student to be able to use Navri.
  • We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA. We haven’t had an independent audit yet.
  • Tell us about any barrier and we’ll help, including other formats.

1. Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We test with automated checks, keyboard-only use, phone screens, and light and dark mode. We haven’t had an independent accessibility audit, so we don’t claim full conformance.

2. What’s available

  • text size, reading font, high contrast and reduced motion settings (Settings → Accessibility)
  • dark mode
  • read-aloud with AI voices, with sound effects off by default
  • keyboard navigation and labels for screen readers
  • captions and a text version of tutor lessons

3. Known limitations

  • the animated whiteboard is visual; its text version may not describe every drawing
  • scanned PDFs, photos of notes and diagrams are read by AI, which can make mistakes: each AI reading is labelled, and the coverage report shows anything that couldn’t be read
  • some charts rely on colour as well as text

4. Tell us

If something is hard to use, report an accessibility barrier or email support@navriapp.com. We aim to reply within 5 business days, and we can provide these policies in another format on request.
